Are there on-line dealers that I can purchase from?
Yes, many of dealers on our dealer locator page have on-line stores. Their websites are listed below their contact information in our dealer locator's search results. Click Here or on the Dealer Locator button in the navigation at the top of this page to visit our dealer locator page to find the Aqua Sphere dealer nearest you.

What is RSS and how do I use it?
RSS is a means of distributing news and important information through a process called "syndication" whereby content authors create newsworthy items and you have the ability to subscribe to the news, called a "feed." There are many ways of receiving the news including viewing the Aqua Sphere homepage or the News and Events page. There are also many other readers, called "aggregators" because they pull the news items from many sources into one convenient location, allowing you to cutomize your news to what interests you. Many so called "personal portal" web broswer startup page services have built in RSS aggregators into which you can add our news feed, such as iGoogle, My Yahoo, My MSN, My AOL, Windows Live, Pageflakes, Protopage, Rojo, and many more. These services let you truly customize your web experience to the news that interests you. If you already have a profile created with one or more of these services, you can use the following feed URL to easily add the newsfeed to your preferred service: http://www.aquasphereswim.com/rss/aquasphere_rss.xml
Some web browsers such as MS Internet Explorer 7+ and Firefox also have built in RSS readers. To add a feed using Firefox, simply click on the RSS icon/logo on the right-hand side of the URL/web address bar to be directed to the source page of the newsfeed. At the top of the resulting news source page, select "Live Bookmarks" and click the Subscribe Now button. A new link is added to your bookmarks toolbar that when clicked shows you our headlines. To add a feed using MS Internet Explorer, follow the instructions here.

How do I clean the lenses of my swim eyewear?
We recommend you do the following two steps:
1. Rinse your goggles off with fresh water after each use.
2. If you need to clean your lenses for any reason, use a baby shampoo. Our lenses have been specially treated with an anti-fog and scratch resistant coating and do not react well to ordinary cleansing agents. Never use toothpaste or other abrasive cleaners.

What is the best way to fit the eyewear to my face?
We first suggest that you try on ALL of our products to find the goggle that fits your face the best as each of our goggles fits differently. Most store packaging will allow you to remove the eyewear to test the fit. Once you have chosen the mask best for you, place the mask on your face so that you create a seal. Take the straps and place over your head. Adjust the side straps individually until you get a snug yet comfortable fit. Do not over tighten the straps. Over tightening may cause the seal to be lost, allowing small amounts of water to leak in.

What is the best eyewear to buy for a small face?
Seal Kid, Moby Kid or Kaiman Small are the best eyewear for kids or adults with smaller faces.

What kind of eye protection should I buy for swimming in the ocean?
The Seal Mask or Seal XP is preferred and used by many top Ironman triathletes and fitness swimmers alike, however, all of our goggles can be used in open water swimming.

Can I buy prescription lenses for Aqua Sphere eyewear?
Yes, there is a 3M product available through many of our dealers that offers you prescription visibility. 3M Optical Press-Ons adhere to the inside of the lenses. Price will vary slightly depending upon the dealer. To find a dealer, click Here or on the Dealer Locator button in the top navigation and enter in your zip code on the resulting page.

Do you carry products for children?
Yes. Seal Kid, Moby Kid, Kaiman Small and the Stingray core warmer suit.

What is the thickness of the Aqua Skins?
Aqua Skins range from .5 to 1 mil in thickness. Please click on the links to the individual Aqua Skin models for their respective weights.

Do Aqua Skins add buoyancy?
Aqua Skins are made up of neoprene, Teflon, and Lycra. The neoprene does add some buoyancy, however Aqua Skins are not coast guard approved for flotation or safety purposes.

Can I wear an Aqua Skin or Speedsuit in a triathlon or biathlon?
Aqua Skins are allowed in any race where a wetsuit is allowed, however, please consult individual event rules for "skin" and other suit regulations. The Speedsuit is approved by the USAT for all USAT and WTC non-wetsuit events.

Is there a warranty on your products?
Yes. We offer a one-year limited warranty on all of our eyewear and accessories.

Are there any important consumer notices associated with your eyewear?
Yes. The following disclaimer appears on all Aqua Sphere eyewear product packaging:
WARNING! This mask is designed to protect the user from irritation of the eyes from salt water or normal swimming pool chemicals while engaged in aquatic activities. However, DO NOT use this mask under conditions where sudden or high speed impact with the water or hard objects could occur, as sudden impact to the lens or frame could cause it to break, resulting in serious or permanent injury to the face or eyes. This eyewear, with any lens type, is not suitable for looking directly into the sun. Misuse of this eyewear may cause serious eye injury. Fit and remove your eyewear with care. Do not use if skin is cut, lacerated or broken in any manner. Discontinue use immediately if irritation arises. Not intended for use by children under the age of 3. Small parts may present a choking hazard.

Do you ever sponsor swimmers or triathletes?
Aqua Sphere does extend product and collateral donation upon individual approval. A list of our current sponsored athletes can be found here.

What is the proper care and maintenance of my Aqua Sphere eyewear?
To increase the effectiveness of the anti-fog treatment, avoid rinsing the lens before use, especially the inside of the lens. After use always rinse with fresh water, allow to dry and store in a cool, dry place. Never place goggles in direct sun. Do not use solvents, chemicals or toothpaste to clean or care for frame or lens.
